Both Nomads is involved in non-formal education using the power of deep cultural exchanges in the fields of documentary, photography, visual arts and music. In our workshops we use a participatory and inter-generational approach. People from all socio-cultural backgrounds are encouraged to share their knowledge. Both Nomads has carried out workshops in several countries - with displaced children in Lebanon, youth groups in Morocco and Nepal, universities in the US, as well as with schools and organsiations across Belgium.

Since several years we collaborate with schools across Belgium to motivate children to explore music without boundaries or rules. A mix of traditional instruments, ipads, syntesizers and more.

How do we integrate storytelling and show impact in communications? Since 2010 we have been working with NGOs and companies to understand how to inject creativity, data-driven content and multimedia in their organisations.

Workshops on solution-based journalism reporting on solutions to social challenges. How are social innovators approaching their work, and how can we inspire readers and our community to act independently?

Since 2010 we have been collaborating with universities and institutes to share and learn about documentary filmmaking practices. In particular those integrating participative and visual ethnographic approaches.

From Casablanca to Kathmandu and Bogotà, we have learned and shared knowledge with photojournalists from around the globe. We continue to do so with individuals and organisations interested in using photography for social change.
