Magic Circus Ride

Circus Kathmandu is the only contemporary circus in Nepal. It was formed in 2010 by 13 human trafficking survivors rescued from circuses across India. For the past decade they have raised awareness about human trafficking as well as other issues ranging from menstrual stigma to violence against women. Their journey has triggered both personal and collective micro revolutions. Using their creativity and skills they travel across Nepal spreading the magic of circus one performance at a time.
